The couple running Etsy shop Homemade Goods really know they're stuff when it comes to spices and rubs! Savory, spicey and truely suculent they offer products like Tandoori Rub and a Tuscany Sea Salt Rub.

After trying thier Thai Sea Salt Rub I knew I'd be back for more!
Rich with seasme seeds, chilli and shallots this corse rub is perfect on lamb, chicken or as I prefer pork chops!
Another great thing about this spicey couple from Connecticut is they are open to your suggestions and ideas. Mearely a week or two after I mentioned that I'm a huge brisket fan and a sucker for smoked paperkia, I spyed a new rub in thier line Smoked Paprika Brisket Rub! Yep, I almost fell out of my seat, I couldn't order it fast enough.

Check out they're shop where they offer more then just spices and rubs. You'll find baked goods, all natural sea salt body scrubs and oils infused with curry and mushrooms or rosemary and garlic. They also offer the cutest gift wrapping for direct gift giving!

I made one of these for myself a while back and I adore it. Made from denim and features one of my shutter bug patches in bright green, I never have to look around for my cord now.

Uber Crafty: Etsy Shops Zine
Issue 1 coming soon...

The first issue is due out in Mid October so stay tuned for details. There will be 10 Etsy shops featured, lot's of lovely stuff! A few articles and this and that. I'm really excited about the first group of shops that are featured, a nice mix of items and of personalities. I've had a huge positive response from shops on Etsy and hope to make this a monthly deal once I get the time. Anyone wanting to contribute articles contact me. Meet Ethel!!
My latest and greatest find and faithful companion to my other trusty Singer Lucy. She was free and works like a charm! As with any great find there is always a long winded tale, but I'll keep it short. As if by fate she was sitting outside my front door, placed to the curb by a neighbor who was moving and didn't have the room. Sorry for the shotty pics but I just couldn't wait and she's uber heavy!

Craft Memo is my new best friend!!!
This awesome website allows anyone with a crafty biz (or all you organized crafters) to organize & keep track of all your craft stuff, projects even suppliers. You can even generate detailed lists of your inventory, out of stock items, what you need for a project etc... It's perfect no matter what your craft of choice, Jewerly, Fibers, Fabrics.... I use it for my patches and what not's for my Etsy shop. It's just an awesome way to get/keep organized, because we all know what a pain in the ass it is to get started only to get cut short by lack of supplies. So check it out!
